How Much Does It Cost and How Do I Establish an Account?

Beginning with the 2010-2011 observing season Tenagra is selling both hourly rates and  "shares" (nightly, weekly, monthly) on the Tenagra II 32" and Tenagra III 16" telescope.  The hourly rate is $200US for Tenagra II and is exposure time, not clock time.  The cost for the wide-field Tenagra III telescope is $150US per exposure hour, provided under the same conditions as given for the Tenagra II scope.  The minimum purchase is 10 hours.  If an exposure is less than 60 seconds, it is charged as 60 seconds.  Discounts for greater amounts of time are available.

HALF SEASON RATE ON THE TENAGRA TELESCOPES

We offer a "half season" on the Tenagra telescopes at the low rate of about $50 per observing hour.  This means that every other night from about September 15 to June 30 (our observing season)  will be dedicated to your research projects only.  This eliminates the possibility of scheduling conflicts with other users on the same night.  It is an excellent opportunity for an individual institution or consortium to collect data when a large variety of research designs need to be combined.  There is no other commercial research facility on earth that can offer this aperture, low cost and ability for extended timeline observations.
